Care advice
Caring for your gemstones.
Every Giamiti bracelet is assembled by hand, stone by stone. A few simple habits will help preserve its radiance and strength for years to come.
Everyday care
- Put your bracelet on last, after perfume, creams and make-up.
- Remove it before exercise, housework or gardening: knocks can mark the stones.
- Avoid household cleaning products and solvents, which can dull gemstones.
Water and moisture
- Remove it before showering, swimming or going into the sea: chlorine and salt weaken the thread.
- If it gets wet, gently pat it dry with a soft cloth, without rubbing.
- Some porous stones (turquoise, lava stone and malachite) are particularly sensitive to water.
Thread and clasp
- Always open the clasp when putting on or removing your bracelet; never pull on the thread.
- For elastic bracelets, roll the bracelet on rather than stretching it.
- Clean gold with a soft, dry cloth, never an abrasive brush.
Cleaning and storage
- Wipe the stones with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear.
- Store your bracelet flat in its pouch, away from direct sunlight.
- Keep it from rubbing against other jewelry: each piece deserves its own space.
